Return Period
You have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt to request a return, in accordance with EU distance-selling regulations.
Return Conditions
The item must be returned unused, in its original condition, with all protective materials, authenticity cards, dust bags, boxes and accessories intact.
All original hang tags and security seals must remain attached and undamaged.
Items will undergo a strict quality and authenticity re-verification upon receipt.
Authentication & Processing Requirements
Because Absolue Luxuries sources rare and pre-owned items through a global network, all orders require multi-step verification before approval for return or refund. To ensure authenticity and protect both the buyer and our sourcing partners, the following conditions apply:
1. Items in Transit or Pending Authentication Are Not Eligible for Cancellation or Refund
Once an order has been placed and the sourcing process has begun, items that are still in transit, pending arrival, or awaiting authentication are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund.
This includes items being shipped from international suppliers to our Paris authentication centre.
2. Disputed Authenticity Claims Require Completion of the Full Verification Procedure
If a customer disputes the authenticity of an item, the item must first complete our standard re-verification process before any return or refund request can be considered.
Refunds will not be issued based solely on customer assertion without completion of expert assessment.
3. Multi-Item Orders Are Processed Individually; Disputes Do Not Affect Other Items
Any claim or dispute regarding one item does not grant the right to cancel, refund, or modify other items within the same order, including items still in transit or pending authentication.
Each item undergoes independent sourcing, logistics, and verification.
4. Orders Cannot Be Refunded Due to Sourcing or Transit Timeframes
Due to the nature of luxury sourcing, sourcing time and transit duration may vary by country.
These timeframes do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Non-Returnable Items
Jewellery, watches, fragrances and intimate apparel
Personalised or custom-made items
Items explicitly marked as final sale
Any item showing signs of wear, perfume, make-up, creases, scuffs or removed tags
Shipping Costs & Duties
Return shipping costs, including any customs duties or taxes, are the responsibility of the customer.
We do not provide pre-paid return labels. Please use a tracked and insured service; risk of loss during return transit remains with the customer.
Refund Process
Once the item has been received and verified as complying with our return conditions, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
Should the item show signs of use or handling that reduce its value, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount or refuse the return.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. You may return the item according to the above policy and place a new order for the desired piece.
